2013-2015 Arts Director
Jing joined Chess in the Library two years ago while playing on his school chess team. He has changed branches several times but is now settled at Brookbanks. He is homeschooled through an online program, the Stanford Online High School, which he attends with students from various locations in the world. There he leads several clubs and is a student ambassador for the school.
In his spare time, Jing writes music. He recently finished his first orchestra piece, and after writing several piano and choir pieces, is looking into electronic music to further his palette. Additionally, he plays table tennis, builds Lego, and is a passionate member of Scouting. He also enjoys camping and wildlife photography.
As Arts Director for CITL, Jing is responsible for creating posters for recruitment and tournaments, as well as certificates, through his artistic skills. He has watched CITL expand and improve during his time here and looks forward to helping CITL broaden its boundaries.
